Agreement to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to PreppingDeals.net and the features, feeds, alerts, and services we provide (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
You must be at least 13 years old to use interactive features of the Site. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Site only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
What PreppingDeals Provides
PreppingDeals researches and publishes deals, discounts, coupons, product information, and promotions for informational and convenience purposes. We are not the seller, manufacturer, payment processor, shipper, or warranty provider for the products and services featured on the Site.
Unless we clearly say otherwise, a listing is not sponsored merely because it appears on the Site. Our assessment of a deal reflects our editorial judgment at the time it is published, but it is not a guarantee about a product, retailer, or final transaction.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you follow one of those links and make a qualifying purchase, PreppingDeals may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate compensation may affect which merchants or offers we can link to, but we aim to select deals based on usefulness, value, reliability, and relevance to our audience.
Our Site-wide disclosure and disclosures presented near deal content are intended to explain this relationship. The retailer or affiliate network determines whether a transaction qualifies and may use cookies or similar technology for attribution.
Prices, Coupons, and Availability
Deals can change or expire without notice. Retailers may change prices, coupons, inventory, eligibility, subscription requirements, shipping terms, taxes, and availability at any time. An offer may vary by account, membership, location, device, purchase history, or other retailer-controlled factors.
We do not guarantee that a displayed price, discount percentage, coupon, image, description, or availability is accurate, complete, or current, or that a retailer will honor an offer. Before purchasing, you are responsible for confirming the final product, seller, condition, quantity, price, discount, taxes, shipping charges, recurring obligations, return policy, and warranty directly with the retailer.
Third-Party Retailers and Links
Your purchase and any related payment, fulfillment, delivery, warranty, return, refund, safety, or customer-service issue is solely between you and the applicable retailer, marketplace seller, manufacturer, or service provider. PreppingDeals is not a party to that transaction.
The Site links to services we do not control. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices, security, and content. A link does not mean that we guarantee every claim, product, seller, or practice found on the destination site. You visit and use third-party services at your own risk.
Comments, Ratings, and Deal Submissions
The Site may let you comment, rate a deal, report an expired deal, contact us, or submit a deal (“User Content”). You retain ownership of User Content you create. By submitting User Content, you grant PreppingDeals a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and promote it in connection with operating and publicizing the Site. If you voluntarily provide a name for credit, you permit us to display that name with the submission.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that it does not violate another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights. Do not submit confidential information, personal information about someone else, unlawful material, deceptive claims, spam, malware, or abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or obscene content.
Community ratings and comments are user opinions, not endorsements or verified product claims by PreppingDeals. You may not manipulate votes, impersonate others, coordinate fraudulent activity, or evade technical controls. We may review, edit, reject, remove, restrict, or preserve User Content and may suspend access to interactive features, but we are not obligated to monitor every submission. Comments are also processed through FastComments and may be subject to its terms.
Acceptable Use
You may use the Site for lawful personal and noncommercial purposes. You may not:
- Break any law, infringe another person’s rights, or use the Site for fraud or abuse.
- Interfere with the Site, probe for vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code, overload infrastructure, or evade rate limits or access controls.
- Use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or other automated means to harvest Site content or data at scale without our prior written permission, except for ordinary use of our public RSS feed and search-engine crawling allowed by our robots instructions.
- Copy, republish, sell, frame, mirror, or create a competing database from our original deal writeups, selection, arrangement, branding, or other protected content without permission.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, manipulate ratings or comments, or interfere with another visitor’s use of the Site.
Intellectual Property
PreppingDeals retains all rights in its original branding, logos, Site design, software, written content, deal writeups, curation, selection, and arrangement. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Retailer names, trademarks, product names, and product images belong to their respective owners and may be used for identification, commentary, and linking. If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright or other rights, email admin@preppingdeals.net with identification of the work, the material and its URL, your contact information, a description of your rights, and a good-faith explanation of the issue.
Informational Use and Safety
Site content is general information and is not legal, medical, financial, tax, safety, professional, or emergency-preparedness advice. Products discussed on the Site may carry risks and may not be lawful or appropriate in every location or situation. Evaluate products for your circumstances, follow applicable laws and manufacturer instructions, and seek qualified professional advice when appropriate.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, security, and error-free operation.
We do not warrant the quality, safety, legality, performance, availability, or suitability of any product, seller, retailer, coupon, or promotion, or that Site errors will be corrected.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PreppingDeals and its operator, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, personal injury, property damage, or losses arising from missed or expired deals, price errors, failed coupons, product issues, retailer actions, shipping, User Content, external services, or reliance on Site information.
If liability is established despite these limitations, the total aggregate liability arising from or related to the Site will not exceed $100 USD. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PreppingDeals and its operator from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
Changes, Suspension, and General Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site and may update these Terms as the Site or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will identify the latest version. Your continued use after revised Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Site, our visitors, or third parties, or to respond to unlawful or abusive conduct. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and PreppingDeals regarding use of the Site.
